Invites Writers to Lemon Fest
Qualified travel writers are invited to visit the one-of-a-kind cooking vacation schools, with complimentary accommodations and programs (programs are inclusive of classes, lunches, dinners, transfers, taxes, tips and excurisions), at one of the locations in Campania or Tuscany. Cooking Vacations takes travelers on a unique trip to unknown places not on the typical tourist trail. Each private villa, residence or boutique hotel has been selected for their charm and elegance. Programs also include, gastronomic wine tasting and dinner tours-in private cellars and off-the-beaten path. In Tuscany the properties with exclusive packages are â?"in Tuscany Villa Castel (minutes from Cortona-city of "Under The Tuscan Sun" Ortaglia and Montelucci. In Roma the property is the Saint Regis Grand. In Campania and Amalfi, properties include: Sorrento Cooking School in Sorrento; Villa Oasi Olimpia in Sant Agata; Hotel Luna Convento in Amalfi; Dolce Vita in Capri; Villa Gian Battista in Vico Equense; Hotel Tramonto D'Oro in Praino, Villa Cimbrone and Mamma Agata in Ravello, and Palazzo Murat,Villa Giovannina and Folinari Villa in Positano. Our programs are creatively designed and include, for example, a Lemon Fest cooking class. The class starts out with a morning visit to a private lemon grove, where writers learn the history of the Amalfi lemon; followed by the cooking class which teaches them an all lemon menu from antipasto to dessert. Another class includes a visit to an artisan ceramic maker, where participants are able to sculpt, paint and bake their own set of dinner plates. Interested writers should contact:
